Doing our bit for the local community…
Yesterday the National Trust Rangers played highway maintenance workers down at Clifford Bridge. We shifted around nine tonnes of material that had washed down Clifford Hill and turned the road into something reminiscent of a river bed. We have been making the most of it while we have the mini digger on loan to repair the rain damage to the trails around the Teign Woods.
Our volunteer, Ellie, had a lesson in digger driving while I stayed warm in the tractor cab and Rob assumed the classic shovel-lean pose! And of course, it wouldn’t be the same without Dave’s cameo appearance in his trademark high-vis jacket!
