The deer rut at Fingle

This half term take a wander through Fingle Woods, the autumn colours are spectacular and if you are lucky you may hear the atmospheric roar of the fallow deer. The rutting season has started. Paul Moody, local photographer, has managed to capture some pictures of the male deer making their characteristic roaring sound. If you are lucky enough to be in close proximity to the stags, please do keep dogs on a lead.
