Grade ‘B’ Fell Race organised under the auspices of the Fell Runners Association by the Woodland Trust sponsored by the? LOOKING ? Under UKA Athletic Rules – minimum entry age 18

Distance: 10 miles (16km)      Climb: 1800 ft (560m)

Sunday 19th October 2014 – Starting at 11.00

The Woodland Trust in conjunction with Natural England will be hosting the inaugural Bovey Beauty fell race through some of the most rugged and remote areas of the East Dartmoor National Nature Reserve. The route begins in the dark woods of the Bovey Valley and climbs to Lustleigh Cleave and onto Hunters Tor at the head of the valley, returning via the rare Western Oak Woods on the southern side of the valley over Houndtor ridge and onto Trendlebere Down before returning to the start in Pullabrook Wood.
